In a Manhattan studio where shadows play like dark secrets, the Tattoo Noir Workshop invites you to learn the art of capturing tattooed models in true hard-boiled style. You’ll delve into techniques highlighting the richness of ink on skin, framing each shot to reveal the raw edge and story behind every design.

Guided by a photographer who’s spent years perfecting moody, high-contrast portraits, you’ll master the fundamentals: dramatic lighting setups to accentuate detail, shadows to add intrigue, and camera settings to balance sharpness with intensity. With hands-on guidance, you’ll work with models to explore the body’s contours, emphasizing each tattoo’s shape and significance.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to create arresting portraits that pull the viewer into the story, evoking a noir allure that lingers.

Bring your camera, curiosity, and a steady hand—this workshop is for those ready to capture inked skin with the mystery and grit of a detective’s eye.

A part of this workshop contains nudity so you gotta be 18 or older to step through the door. No exceptions. And leave the video cameras at home—this isn’t a movie set.

I’ve got bills to pay and a model to keep happy, so only those who pay upfront get a seat. No pay, no play—it's as simple as that.
And don’t worry, a model release comes with the deal. It’s all part of the package.

BARBORA is the model for this workshop: inked from collarbone to wrist—a tapestry of secrets. Each tattoo whispered stories darker than midnight alleys.
