Low Light Art Nude Workshop
May 24 6:30-9 pm Union Square New York City
Workshop: Low Light Photography
Step into the shadows and discover the beauty of low light.
Join us in an intimate studio setting for a hands-on workshop on shooting in low light. Whether you're just beginning or have years behind the lens, this session will challenge your perception of what's possible when the light fades.
We'll work with Isi, a professional model, exploring shape, mood, and emotion, through a mix of portrait and art-nude setups. The emphasis is on creative expression, working with minimal light sources, and understanding how to harness available light to create powerful, evocative images.
What you’ll learn:
- How to see and shape light in low-light conditions
- Camera settings, lenses, and tools that help (and when to break the rules)
- Working with a model in a respectful and collaborative way
- Building atmosphere and emotion in your photos
- Studio techniques that don’t rely on big setups
Who it's for: Photographers of all levels who want to push their creative boundaries and gain confidence shooting in challenging lighting.
Bring: Your camera, your curiosity, and an open mind.
Places are limited to ensure plenty of shooting time and individual feedback.
