Step into the Shadows: A Chiaroscuro Lighting Workshop with Sofia
If you’ve got an eye for mystery and a taste for shadows, then listen closely. This Saturday, in a Manhattan photo studio filled with intrigue, we’re pulling back the curtain on chiaroscuro lighting—a world of hard light and deep shadows. We’re talking real drama, the kind that can turn an ordinary portrait into a noir masterpiece.
Your guide? Sofia, a model whose face could launch a thousand flashbulbs and maybe a few broken hearts. Together, we’ll work that single, sultry light to carve out scenes straight out of a Raymond Chandler novel. Dark, moody, full of grit.
You’ll learn how to use just one light and a handful of tricks to turn out portraits that tell stories no one will forget. Think Rembrandt meets the streets of Manhattan. Whether you’re new to this style or a seasoned pro looking to sharpen your edge, you’ll walk out with more than photos. You’ll have the skills to bend light and shadow to your will.
Registration: Limited spots. Book yours—if you can handle the shadows.
So grab your camera, find your nerve, and step into the dark. Just remember—once you start playing with light and shadow, there’s no turning back.
You gotta be 18 or older to step through the door. No exceptions. And leave the video cameras at home—this isn’t a movie set.
I’ve got bills to pay and a model to keep happy, so only those who pay upfront get a seat. No pay, no play. Simple as that.
And don’t worry, a model release comes with the deal. It’s all part of the package
